Thurs., Aug. 5 - 8:30-11:30 PM - THE SOMMER
   The Sommer is an alternative rock group who have been playing together for about 4 years.  Group members include James and Alex Arbter and John and Michael McCaulley.  The band performs both original music and cover songs.  Last year their state qualifying performance won them a 60-minute gig at Summerfest in Milwaukee.  They have also performed locally at the Sturgeon Bay Steel Bridge Songfest, various local establishments, and many high school and college functions.  Most recently, they performed as a lead-in band for the local group, Dow Jones. They have recorded 2 CDs of original material and are working on their third.  They have also recorded a music video of one of their originals, "Seventeen", which can be seen at:  http://www.myspace.com/thesommer
